The Manuel sisters. Cheryl Sharon and La Vergne With unique blends of melodic harmonies these forerunners brought the gift of spirituals throughout the Bay Area in the 1950's and 1960's singing at various churches, radio stations, and private parties. Their passion for music led all of the Manuel sisters to study music at San Francisco State University and teach others about, and instill passion for the love of music.
La Vergne continues to sing in church and acts and performs in show cases and plays for the church.
Sharon Manuel Continues to teach piano and voice lessons and still sing every Sunday at church,
Cheryl the shyest of the sisters executes her creativity in other ways, by continuing to teach young children and writing poems. She has won several competitions and is looking forward to writing a book. She has also done extra work in a few TV shows in Hollywood ca.
